Lancing Parish Council

Lancing Parish Council was set up in 1894. It covers the area between Shoreham-by-sea and Worthing from Western Road (adjacent to Brooklands) and Sompting in the west through to the River Adur in the east. It stretches from the beach and coast inland to include part of the South Downs.

Notice is hereby given that you are required to attend the meeting of the Amenities & Environment Committee which will be held on Wednesday 8th February 2012 in the Council Chamber, Parish Hall, South Street at 7.30 p.m.

 

AGENDA

Members are reminded to make any declarations of personal and/or prejudicial interest that they may have in relation to items on this agenda.

 

Notice should be given at this part of the meeting of any intended declaration. The nature of the interest should then be declared later at the commencement of the item or when the interest becomes apparent.

 

4          Minutes of the Previous Meeting held on 14th December 2011.

 

The Minutes of this meeting were due to be confirmed at Full Council on 4th  January 2012. Copies of those minutes were attached to the Full Council Meeting of the same date.

 

Matters arising

 

            The last Amenities Meeting on January 11th was cancelled.
5          Public Forum/Questions.

 

Members of the public are reminded that only questions and statements relating to items on this agenda will be allowed.

 

Questions relating to any other items that are not on this agenda should be referred to the Chair of the Council or Clerk as appropriate and outside this meeting.  

 

6          Issues Relating to Outdoor Facilities.

 

6.1       Dog Fouling

 

            Chair to report on Dog Fouling problems at Larkfield Close Park and Widewater.

 

            We understand that Arun District Council are appointing a Dog Warden and that           all issues should be sent to Marilyn Weir at marilyn.weir@adur.gov.uk  or 01903   221309

 

6.2       Adult Keep Fit equipment on Beach Green

 

The Chair to report on sponsorship of equipment and involvement of local groups.

 

6.3       Jubilee Celebrations 5th June 2012

 

            Appendix A to this Agenda outlines the Timetable, Activities and Organisers
